International and Industry Based Certifications

We assess and certify employees based on the required knowledge, skills and competences in their workplace. All our certifications are based on international standards that are used in the Netherlands and across Europe.

We also offer international VAPRO examinations and certifications for students in Indonesian vocational schools and academies.

Our certifications are based on international Industry standards. Besides theoretical underpinning knowledge, VAPRO also assess the required skills and competences through practical assessments in the school laboratories and internship in the company. VAPRO international examination is conducted under the responsibility and supervision of the independent VAPRO Indonesian examination board, and guarantees:

  1. Relevant assessment of all required knowledge, skills and competences for workers
  2. Independent and Reliable assessment methods
  3. Objective and Reproductive results for certification
  4. Recognized certification by (multinational) industries

All assessments and certifications takes place under the responsibility and supervision of the VAPRO Indonesia Examination Board.

Process Operator

A process operator is an employee that operates, monitor and control the installations of a production process. He/she takes care for a smoothly efficient production while also taking into account all HSE risks in the workplace. A process operator also have skills in preventive and inspective maintenance. A qualified process operator must be able to:

  • Operate, control and monitor process components and operations
  • Prepare or remove raw materials, by-products, or final products
  • Take and evaluate representative samples
  • Do simple process calculations
  • Carry out common preventive or inspective maintenance
  • Report on the process condition
  • Takes into account all HSE risks in the workplace

Laboratory Technician

A laboratory technician or analyst works in the laboratory or quality control department of a company, and responsible for checking and controlling samples of products to determine if they meet the required specifications. He/She takes and prepares samples, execute physical and chemical analysis, and reports the results in a correct way. A laboratory technician must be able to conduct tasks such as:

  • Taking representative samples from production
  • Preparing sample for analysis
  • Carrying out different types of physical, chemical or (micro) biological analysis
  • Processing and reporting analysis' results
  • Managing laboratory facilities and inventory
  • Taking care of all HSEQ aspects in the workplace

Metal Construction Worker

A metal construction worker is able to create various spare parts/components using metalworking techniques. This requires skills in the different types of metalworking techniques while also possessing in-depth knowledge of technical drawings and material properties. A metal construction worker is always aware of the HSE risks in the workplace and must be able to carry out tasks such as:

  • Preparing and calculating raw materials for metalworking
  • Understanding and editing technical drawings/designs
  • Creating components/spare parts using various metalworking techniques (grinding, cutting, welding, lathe, CNC)
  • Carrying out preventive maintenance and simple corrective maintenance on machines and equipments
  • Reports about the work in effective way (written and oral)
  • Takes care of all HSE aspects in the workplace

HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) is extremely important in all industries. Besides the necessary knowledge and skills to execute their job in a good and efficient way, every employee in the industry must also have deep knowledge, skills and attitude to conform with the HSE standards.
